How the personal alarm works
Your personal alarm simply plugs into your landline phone socket and a power socket. Your telephone then goes into the back of the alarm unit via the adaptor provided. A quick test call later and you are now covered by our Response Team.
When the elderly alarm is activated, by either the pendant or red help button, it will take over the phone line and send a call to our Response Team. They will then communicate with you through the loudspeaker on the Lifeline Vi Alarm and arrange help through your emergency contacts or the emergency services.
MyAmie Pendant
Your new personal alarm will come alongside the highly-rated MyAmie Pendant - which can be worn around your neck or wrist.
The stylish pendant is waterproof for use in the bath and shower, and can also be worn outside in the garden thanks to its range of up to 100 metres.
A seven-year battery life means that you will not have to worry about your pendant not working. We will be notified once the battery life is low and a free replacement will be sent to you immediately.
