Seniors Card at LifeConnect24

LifeConnect24 is happy to announce that our customers are now able to use their Seniors Card to receive 15% off the price of our personal alarms.

This means that our potentially life-saving personal alarm system is now even more affordable. This is another reason to give your loved ones peace of mind that you are being looked after in your home.

What is the Seniors Card?

The seniors card was introduced in 2015 by Geurin Media Ltd and is the Republic of Ireland’s only free discount card for the elderly. The card is available to everybody over the age of 60 – with no assets test or income information required in the signing-up process.

Since its launch the card has become an acceptable form of discount in a number of different sectors throughout the country. Examples include the accommodation and tourism sector, health sector, food sector and the gardening sector.

The elderly can now save money on gardening products, hotel rooms, at the dentist or when they are going out for meals with their friends and family – just to give a few examples.

Our Discount

We are offering a 15% discount on our products when you use your Seniors Card. This means that you will be able to purchase a personal alarm on a monthly plan for an upfront fee of just €118.15.

After the initial fee – which includes the first three months rental and a reduced set up fee – you will only pay €12.49 per month.

With our personal alarm device, if you suffer from a fall in your home or feel unwell then all you need to do is to push the red button on your MyAmie Pendant. The stylish pendant can be worn around the user’s neck or wrist, with both attachments included inside the box.

This small device links to the personal alarm base unit – which you plug into your telephone socket and a power socket. Once the alarm’s set-up has been completed you will be covered by our 24/7, Platinum Accredited Response Team.

When you push your button they will receive an alert message and will try to talk with you over the base unit loudspeaker. After assessing the situation, they will then call your emergency contacts and, if required, the emergency services and tell them to attend urgently.

The emergency contacts are selected by the alarm user and usually consist of family members, close friends and neighbours.

How to apply your Seniors Card discount

You can use your Seniors Card when making a purchase over the phone or through our website. All you need to do when you are ordering your personal alarm, key safe or safety detectors is to quote your discount code to the member of our sales team.

For an internet order you can simply enter the code into the discount code section of your online basket. This will automatically remove 15% of the cost.

The fall alarm sensors and detectors on all devices use an algorithm to recognise the difference between ‘hard’ falls and other movements. They cannot guarantee to detect all falls because it is dependent on where and how it is worn and if it can detect the fall. For this reason if you have had a fall or need assistance you should press your emergency pendant or alarm box if you are able.
